It’s early summer when Hijiri spots the ever-familiar butterfly flying past, most likely going to a flower. That was something he’d become used to by now, this time of year. Especially with everything so in bloom still! He catches himself following the trail of the black insect to its inevitable target of the bloom —

and almost screams when it lands on Toru instead.
